X-S 19 redemption

Omi looked out of the courtyard Mala Mala Jong sat there with Mayumi Jackie and Jewel who looked very upset considering they had just used Wuya’s greatest demon against her! Omi crept up to it and looked at it curiously it looked at him and then carried on just sitting there.
“What is it doing?” he asked Mayumi whom seems to be Mala Mala Jong’s next master, she looked at him and then glanced at Mala Mala Jong who now seemed to be napping.
“I don’t know what ever demons constructed out of Shen-gong-wu do when not fighting I guess!” she shrugged.
“You do not know but you made it!” Omi cried astonished, Mayumi resisted the urge to tell Mala Mala Jong to throw Omi over the wall.
“Well I made him by accident no one told me what would happen if I play Shen-gong-wu Snowman with the Heart of Jong!” Mayumi exclaimed “No one even told me what most of these things do let alone what would happen if they joined together!” she muttered. Omi interest wandered to the strange little orb in Jewel’s hands it swirled around and turned dark grey.
“Ooooh what is that?” he asked and Jewel hid it away.
“Nothing!” she snapped “Go away!” Omi looked hurt and then wandered off.
“Easy girl he was only…” Jackie said.
“It’s all I’ve got left of the Jack I knew and loved I don’t want him messing with it!” Jewel said and hid it in her pocket, and then they got up Mala Mala Jong was about to follow when Mayumi looked at it and pointed at it.
“No stay!” she said and it sat back down it gave small strange noise and Jackie looked at it strangely.
“Okay I swore that thing just yipped like a puppy!” she said as they walked off.
“You know I was told that thing was pure evil I guess it just needed a good influence” Jewel said.
“Good influence? This is a monster we’re talking about not some little kid!” Jackie declared Mayumi put her hands in her pockets and kicked a stone.
“You treating M.M.J as if it doesn’t have feelings” she said and Jewel and Jackie looked at her.
“What?”
“Come on you’re not getting all motherly over it!” Jackie exclaimed.
“No!” Mayumi yelled “I feel more like…like…like an older sister to it!” she said.
“Whatever as long as that thing fights for us you can treat it as if it was your child for all I care!” Jackie declared, Mayumi looked back at Mala Mala Jong and wondered what link she had to it.

Jack walked back to the cave, back hunched and hands shoved securely in his pockets, why did he feel so empty? He knew why his so called four thousand years of inheritance of evil had just been ripped out of him by Jewel. Oh god what will happen if Wuya and Namu found out?
“Oh they are still on the other side of the freaking mountain!” he muttered when suddenly a ghostly skeleton’s torso in black fog floated up.
“Where are Wuya and Namu?” Spicer demanded but he stopped and floated around Jack “Something is different about you!”
“Once again your so called knowledge of the Xiaolin dynasty is flawed!” Jack yelled “I’m no longer a Xiaolin dragon of shadows I’m just…”
“A pathetic little boy with big toys!” Namu declared “We can sense it Jack Spicer no need to lie; you’ve lost your powers!” Jack hung his head, Wuya laughed as they came back they were no worse for wear considering they had their butts handed back to them by Mayumi and Mala Mala Jong.
“Now that your plan went down the privy hole I think we must get rid of a greater threat!” Wuya said and Spicer crossed his arms in a sort ‘I’m-waiting’ pose.
“Oh and that would be?”
“The Xiaolin heart, it can no longer be activated as they are missing one piece of the puzzle now” she laughed looking at Jack “Stupid Dashi believed that hiding it in a certain little fairy would make sure that we can’t get at it”
“Hey wait up what about the Xiaolin heart?” Jack demanded and Wuya looked at him like he was an idiot.
“The Xiaolin heart a great power of the Gods bestrode upon a mere mortal that would destroy all evil in the land blah blah blah!” she said waving her hand back and forth in bored manner “A fairy tale but Grand master Dashi found it in your ex-girlfriend and I knew I had to make steps, making sure Jewel would never find it and would never use it against me!”
“You’re going to kill Jewel!” Jack cried “Hey you never said you would kill her!” Oh God I’ve got to warn her! He thought and ran off, Namu looked at Spicer whom nodded in an approval and Namu sank into the darkness and followed him.

Jewel sat on the wall looking at the orb and with a long sigh put it back in her pocket.
“Oh Jack why did you leave me?” she whispered “I still love you”
“I know” came a whisper and Jewel looked down to see Jack leaning against the wall looking up at her, she leapt up and was about to call for the guards.
“Jewel you have to go leave the temple!” he hissed.
“Why?”
“Wuya wants to kill you”
“Nothing new there!”
“You have the one thing that can get rid of Namu and Wuya forever! The Xiaolin heart!” he cried.
“How do I know this isn’t a trick?” she asked.
“Because it is!” Namu hissed and leapt out and entangled her in his tentacles, she gave a muffled shriek, and Jack looked at him in shock.
“No! I didn’t mean…” he stuttered.
“We wanted to get Mala Mala Jong back but you know the Xiaolin heart has much more potential!” Namu hissed “once again Jack you add insult to injury I’m sooooo glad you’re one of us!” he sneered as he and Jewel sunk into the darkness, Jack sighed in a defeated tone and made his way back to the cave, he was about to vanish into the cane forest when he heard Kimiko and Clay talking.
“We knew he couldn’t be trusted, Jewel was an idiot in believing there was some good in him” Kimiko declared, Jack hung his head and walked off if he had hung around a bit longer…
“Yeah Kimiko but he’s help us before when he could have just saved his own skin I mean that must mean something!” Clay stated.
“Yeah well…I suppose you’re right…”  

Jewel sat in a cell, chained up by her wrists and ankles she sat there close to tears, no one knew she was gone and any minute now Wuya would use her gift of the Xiaolin heart to kill all her friends. Just then the door swung open and Jack came in, he looked over his shoulder and then back at Jewel who just glared at him, he sat down and pulled out a box which held a sandwich and a pudding cup.
“Thought you might be hungry” he muttered, she sat there looking at him “Come on like I’d poison your food! You know me I always draw the line at killing someone!” he exclaimed.
Especially the only person in my life who has ever liked me for being me! He thought, Jewel picked up the sandwich and bite off a tiny bit and tasted it, she looked at the sandwich and then at Jack.
“Thanks” she muttered, Jack got up and left knowing that it was the closest thing he was going to get with Jewel actually talking to him.
Wuya barged past him as he left the prison cell; she looked at him with a sneer.
“Giving her  the last supper are you?” she asked in a mocking tone, Jewel was dragged out a second later and she and Wuya left. Jack looked around trying really hard for a way to get Jewel out of here, there was no point going to the Xiaolin dragons they all hated his guts for sure even his own sister and they don’t even know where Jewel is at the moment. I guess that leaves me then! Jack thought and walked to the gate opening.

Jewel sat on the floor in front of the gate tied down tighter than a bow string, this was reminding her all too well when her wing were ripped out of her which really didn’t help matters. All alone surrounded by a Halyin witch, a demon, a ghost, a cat obsessed lunatic, and Jack the one person she thought she could trust with her life.
Jack walked in as Wuya pulled out an ugly looking dagger, he knew the plan rip out the Xiaolin heart jewel and then use it to power all of them up, like Jewel does with him when they fuse, Jewel sat there trying her best to look noble and brave even though she knew her heart was about to get torn from her while she was alive and awake!!! Wuya raised it above her head when Jack called out.
“Hey wait!” they stopped and looked at him “Namu you of all people should know that Wuya killing her is not the best way of killing her!” he declared and Namu looked at him “The one thing that would hurt her more would be if I was to kill her, her ‘own true love’ the one person she thought she could trust?” he asked Namu whom being the one who loved to see a person be more mentally killed than physically killed couldn’t resist this!
“Go on then show her you’re evil then!” he demanded and threw the dagger at him, he caught it and walked over to her, she looked up at him as he grinned evilly.
“I thought you were good Jack I thought you weren’t evil” she whispered as he raised the dagger “But I guess I was wrong”
“You are wrong” he declared “I’m not evil…I’m just misunderstood!” he yelled and slashed the dagger down breaking the chains open and pulling her up.
“Little betrayer!” Katnappe yelled as they stumbled forward and into the dark tunnel.

Jack had pulled Jewel out and into the tunnel, Jack could only see the light of Jewel’s wings but the rest of it was encased in darkness just when he thought they could escape. He screamed and grasped his head as what felt like a million screeching nails on chalk boards came rushing into his head; Namu slithered up to him as Jack fell to his knees.
“If you thought being near the crystal of Namu was horrible that was just whispers now feel WHAT IT IS LIKE BEING RIGHT NEXT TO ME!” Namu screamed, to Jack who still had Xiaolin blood and therefore connected to the shadows could usually hear the whisper of Namu’s soul but he had learned to ignore it. But now it was like Namu had put a loudspeaker next to his ear and shouted at the top of his lungs through it.
Jewel spun around to see Jack groaning in agony as Namu stood over him raising a clenched fist ready to smash his head in, he tried to save my life but he betrayed me in the first place Jewel thought as she stood there watching posed to run Oh what the f*** I love him!! She thought and ran back to him.
She grabbed Jack’s arm and pulled out a parchment of paper with ancient symbols on it, it glowed for a second and then in a flash both Jack and Jewel had gone leaving a little bit of paper fluttering down onto the floor, Namu growled in frustration and then looked thoughtful as the parchment said ‘to the temple my room’
“So that’s where they went” he muttered.

Jewel and Jack suddenly appeared over Jewel’s bed and then fell down with a heavy thud making stuff scatter off the bed and onto the floor, Jack got up rubbing his head desperately wishing for a headache pill the size of a football as Jewel got up coughing.
“So…cough...does this mean I’m forgiven?” Jack asked sheepishly Jewel picked off a piece of paper that got plastered to her head and then flicked it away as she looked at him.
“Maybe…” she began Jack leapt up with a grin.
“That’s a good start!” he grinned Jewel ran over to her window to see that in the bamboo forest two forces were making large roads as they destroyed all in their path.
“Well I think it’s about time that ‘look into your heart for the power’ junk would make sense right about now!” Jewel muttered Jack glanced at her.
“Come again?”
“My mother told me something while I was dying in your living room that one time she said that ‘soon the veil of the shadow will broken and when it happens look into your heart for the power and split it six’” Jewel explained “But I can’t for the life of me figure out what she meant”
Jack looked down at the floor and suddenly perked up.
“Spilt it six! I got it!” he cried “Six elements minus you which means metal, fire, earth, wind, water sha…oh” he mumbled at the last bit “that can’t work I’m not a Xiaolin dragon anymore” Jewel gave a ‘why-do-I-bother’ sigh and pulled out an black orb and handed it to him.
“Well if you tell me right now that you repent from your evil stupid ways and I’ll give your powers back” she said Jack grinned and nodded, she looked at him and put the orb to his chest and with a sudden shove the orb vanished into his heart, he gasped at the sudden blast of power and stumbled back.
“Yes! Jack Spicer is in the house …Oh errrr…hi guys!” he muttered and waved sheepishly as Jackie and Mayumi came in looking worried and then angry at Jack, Jackie got out her bladed whip and got ready to attack.
“No wait I’m good I promise! Ask Jewel if you don’t believe me!” he yelped and covered his head with his arms, Jackie looked at Jewel who nodded, she slowly let her bladed whip down and glared at him then suddenly leapt forward and gave a sister’s big hug.
“Where the hell have you been Jacky boy?” she asked.
“Okay now that’s out the way, we need to do this quick and we need to do this now!” Jewel said…

In the court yard monks ran around preparing for battle and Mala Mala Jong and Mayumi went to the gate ready to defend it, in the court yard the Xiaolin dragons were in a circle looking both nervous and a tad bit embarrassed.
“We are in a circle why?” Kimiko asked as Jewel stood in the middle trying to focus.
“I have no idea it felt right” Jewel muttered luckily Kimiko didn’t hear that.
Unluckily Omi did.
“What? There are two evil forces heading our way and you feel it is right to stand here in a circle?” he cried.
“Any minute now she’s gonna ask us to sing kumbai yai!” Raimundo muttered.
“I’d like to see you conjure up some sort of celestial power from within!” Jewel yelled and Raimundo shuted up.

Outside the gates Wuya and Namu had appeared and Mala Mala Jong and Mayumi stood waiting,
“You’d think they would’ve learned from the last butt wooping you gave them oh well M.M.J you know the drill!” she declared and Mala Mala Jong roared and stomped forward.
“Well my little dear I have learned…” Namu laughed and his tentacles lashed out and wrapped around Mala Mala Jong and then began to swarm into it’s body. “And that is take out piece out of the toy” he said and one tentacle yanked out a heart shaped object out of Mala Mala Jong’s jaws, it gave a final roar and then exploded into separate Shen-gong-wu.
“And the rest will fall” Namu sneered  Mayumi looked on in horror as Namu and Wuya came forward knowing their main problem was out of the way, mayumi looked around and then grabbed the Seven Star Shield and put in front of her and the gate.
“You might have gotten rid of M.M.J but I won’t let you get through” Mayumi declared, Wuya sniggered and shot a fireball at it Mayumi braced against it as she was pushed back a few feet.
“Don’t you mean ‘you shall not pass!’” Wuya laughed as she continued her assault on Mayumi who could do no more than hide behind the shield.
“Hurry up guys!” Mayumi whispered, Namu smacked her in the back and Mayumi went flying into a wall she fell limp as she went unconcious.

Jewel closed her eyes as her breathing slowed and her wings glowed brightly, a beating of a heart could be heard as a jewel appeared on her heart. It glowed brighter and brighter until the whole courtyard was filled with it.
The gate gave a horrible crunch as Namu smacked at the gate.
“I call upon the power of the Xioalin heart upon the light that resides in me…” Jewel declared.
The gate gave another crunch and the gate opened a slight bit.
“give me and all my friends the strength we need to destroy the darkness…”
Crunch! This time you could see Namu and Wuya through the crack.
“Xioalin heart and all the elements combine let all our power together shine!” Jewel cried and she vanished into a blaze of light that smacked the others in the face, Wuya and Nmau finally smashed down the door to see the light dimmed down and to see six Xioalin Dragons emerge from it anew….
